Senia Interviews Child Actor, Anthony Michael Hobbs

How old were you when you started acting?
I have no idea. I think I might have been 4. I started acting because I saw the people do it on TV. It looked fun so, I thought I would try it, but my mom said no. But then my grandma, who’s her mom, told her to let me try it so my mom let me try it and I ended up being really good at it! That is how I became an actor.
What is your favorite role so far?
I just did a job for The United Way it was so fun! It’s my favorite role so far because I got to meet new friends, new people, and they gave me Reece Pieces. It was the “fun-est” day of my life. This is what was so special about that set; it was the first time in a long time getting to drive around in a car and shoot at the same time.
What would you like to do in the future?
In the future I want to act, because it’s really fun and I want to keep on living it!
What do you like about acting?
This is what I like about acting: I like how I get to meet new people everyday! Sometimes I get to see old people that I’ve worked with, sometimes they don’t remember me, sometimes they do. Acting is just really fun for me.
What was your first acting role?
That’s a tough question. I don’t really remember. The first job I remember was a modeling job not a acting job. That one was fun because I got to wear different clothes. My first acting job I remember is when I was on PBS Sprout on the “Good Night Show”. That’s the one I remember. Their all fun though.
